Stephen W. Jackson, M.D.   F.A.C.S.
 
Dr Jackson received his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University.  His medical degree, surgical internshipa nd urological residency training were completed at the University of Tennessee in Memphis.  Dr Jackson is Board Certified through the American Board of Urology and is Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (F.A.C.S.).  He enjoys tennis and traveling.

Edward M. McIntire, M.D.
 
Dr. McIntire received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Arkansas.  His surgical internship and urological residency training were completed at the University of Kansas in Kansas City.  Dr McIntire is Board Certified through the   American Board of Urology and is a member of the American Urological Association.  Dr McIntire enjoys fishing and anything the Razorbacks do.

Christopher C. Thacker, M.D.
 
Dr. Thacker is a native of West Monroe, LA.  He received his undergraduate degree from Millsaps College and his medical degree from Emory University.  His surgical internship and urological residency training was completed at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC.  Dr Thacker is Board Certified through the American Board of Urology  and he is a member of the American Urological Association.  Dr. Thacker enjoys fishing and playing bluegrass music.
Grant P. Simmons, M.D. 

Dr. Simmons is a native of Panama City,  Florida.  He was in private practice in Slidell Louisiana from 1975 until joining Tennessee Valley Urology in 2010.    He received his undergraduate degree from University of Georgia and his medical degree from LSU School of Medicine.  His surgical internship and urological residency training was completed at Emory and LSU/Charity Hospital.   Dr Simmons is Board Certified through the American Board of Urology  and he is a member of the American Urological Association.

Kristin Logsdon, APN, FNP-C

Ms. Logsdon graduated Summa cum Laude from the University of TN, Knoxville with a BS in Nursing, where she was a member of the Pride of the Southland Marching Band. She continued her nursing education at UTK, maintaining a GPA of 4.0 working toward her Masters. She transferred to Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY where she completed her Master of Science in Nursing.  

Ms. Logsdon has received many academic honors including Bellarmine Graduate Faculty Merit Award, UT Chancellor’s Award, Extraordinary Academic Achievement, Tennessee Nurses Association Student Leader Award, UT College of Nursing Dean’s Student Advisory Board, University of TN Ambassador Scholar, Student Nurses Association President, UT Symphonic Band Principal Flute and Section Leader
 
We are excited about the opportunities and knowledge that Ms. Logsdon brings to our practice. She will participate in a wide range of patient care. Along with a focus on allowing patients same day access to care, she will work side by side with our physicians to evaluate and treat patients with the highest degree of care. She will also help implement new programs and new care plans that will drive many of the quality initiatives in which our practice currently is participating.
